Q1 Gold Coast – Skypoint Tickets, Hotel Spa & Tower, Surfers Paradise

The Q1 building opened in 2005 and during Queensland’s 150th birthday celebration and this iconic structure has since been voted as the most recognisable landmark in the state.

Designed by the architect Atelier SDG, this building boasts a unique infrastructure and exterior. The building shape and design was actually inspired by the design from Sydney Opera House and Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch.

The tower also houses an observation deck known as SkyPoint on the 77th and 78th floors, where visitors will get a panoramic view of Surfers Paradise, the entire coastline and the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The Q1 also serves food at an array of restaurants within the building including; Hanazono Teppanyaki, Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar, Mondo Pizza & Pasta Bar, Osaka Kaiten Sushi Restuarant as well as Seventy7 Cafe & Bar. So come to Q1 at any time of day for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Today, the SkyPoint Observation Deck has become a popular tourist attraction and is the only beach-side observation deck in Australia; offering enough space to accommodate up to 400 people.
