    Do you hire Segways to be taken away, that is not on one of your tours but for use on another site?
    I run the two big bars at Byron Bluesfest at Easter. It is a big site and bugger the pushbike I’ve used for the last 13 years.
    My excuse is I’m 63.
    Am talking about a week or so of hire.

  • Hello, I am interested in taking a group of about 8 children aged 10 to 14 and my husband and I on a gold coast segway tour.

    Can you give me an idea of costs or what is the best way to do a segway party for an 11yr old?

      I have done some research and it appears that a lot of the segway operators on the Gold Coast have age restrictions and don’t allow rental to under 14s.

      However, you can take segway tours at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary but the only downside there is there is group maximums of 4 people. The upside with this option is you do also get admission to the park itself, so it might be a nice day out (you might just have to rotate the groups).

        • There are segway rides at Broadwater Parklands now…. starting from $5 and its a good way to hae a go….they also run tours….these guys set up every day near the waterpark and trampoline. I did a 1hr tour last week and was glad to hae the tour guide along…showed us a few things on how to ride a segway well….we did sand, rocks, sand dunes, dirt tracks, and a lot of fun too! :)
