The David Fleay Wildlife Park is unique in its approach; presenting diverse indigenous wildlife species in their natural habitat. Located in the suburb of Burleigh Heads, the park aims to raise awareness and educate the community on protecting native and threatened animal species.
The Wildlife Park has an animal hospital that services more than 1500 orphaned, injured and sick animals every year. Unobtrusive fences and viewing platforms are located around the park to make sure that the animals thrive in a natural setting.
David Fleay Wildlife Park Admission Prices, Gold Coast
Visitors can see the displays by themselves – however, a guided admission tour following the park rangers from talk to talk is available and certainly the best way to see the park as the daily shows are run by experienced rangers who are knowledgeable on the plant and animal life living within the park. You can find a link to the activities on offer and a Park Map here.
The David Fleay Wildlife Park has visitor-friendly facilities; including assisted access and parking for disabled visitors. There is also an air-conditioned cafe, toilets, sheltered areas and a visitor information centre.
Visitors coming from Brisbane or the north part of the Gold Coast can take the southbound road towards the Pacific Highway and exit though Tallebudgera Valley/ Burleigh Heads.
What would it cost to bring a group of 30 – 40 seniors to the park?
Hi Lena,
It will cost $14.70 per pensioner to enjoy the David Fleay Wildlife Park, so this will total between $441-$588, depending on final numbers.
I would, however, contact the park directly on (07) 5669 2051 to see if they can offer cheaper group bookings.
Best regards,
Jess
