Wheel of Surfers Paradise Gold Coast
Popular attractions in Surfers Paradise include the beaches, scenic tours to the hinterland and the mountains surrounded by lush subtropical rainforest. On the top of the list of amusements is the Wheel Of Surfers Paradise; a 60m ‘Wheel of Excellence’ located on top of the Surfers Paradise Transit Centre, perfect for everyone to catch some action.
Adjacent to the centre of Surfers Paradise and a short walk from the beach, the Wheel of Surfers Paradise is a fun-filled adventurous ride that will take you up in the air inside the air-conditioned gondolas. From the top, you will see the gorgeous views of the coast, beach, city centre and a view of the verdant subtropical rainforest near the mountains.
The wheel is a fun for everyone and after the renovation, the new Wheel of Surfers Paradise offers its guests a better picturesque view of the hinterland, Gold Coast buildings and of course, the beaches.
The Wheel of Surfers Paradise has fully enclosed air-conditioned capsules to accommodate guests; so you can choose this as a daytime or a nighttime activity, or both, based on your preference.
Evening rides offer a gorgeous view of sunset near the edges of mountains in the hinterland, while night rides will amaze you with the lights of Surfers Paradise and its neighbourhoods. Apart from this, the venue has some other rides on the ground for the little ones. Popular rides and activities for the kids include the Tea Cups ride, hourly reptile demonstrations and the Magical Circus Train ride.
The wheel venue also has a café serving some tasty treats and a souvenir shop for the guests to collect some presents for their loved ones.
