With over 130 koalas, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is certainly the best place to get up close with Australian wildlife where you can cuddle a koala, hand feed a kangaroo and watch magnificent birds in flight.

Other animals located within the sanctuary include kangaroos, reptiles, birds of prey, platypus, dingo, barn animals, possums, owls, Tasmanian devils and wombats. There are a number of shows scheduled throughout the day, so check the image below for times.

BYO alcohol is not permitted, however, beer and wine are sold within the cafe.
