The Magic Millions on the Gold Coast is recognised as the second-largest horse race event in Australia, after the Melbourne Cup.

Magic Millions 2025 Dates, Gold Coast Race Day & Yearling Horse Sales
Set on the gorgeous Gold Coast, the event venue offers a wonderful atmosphere, with racing, fashion on the fields, good food, and great wine. Thousands of spectators flock to the racecourse yearly to bet on the races and have a great day out in the summer on the Gold Coast.
On Saturday, 4 January 2025, a feature twilight race meeting, including six Magic Millions feature races worth $2.5m, will be held under lights at the Gold Coast Turf Club on the Saturday prior to The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday.
Also, from Saturday, 11 January 2025, the Magic Millions Cup doubles to $2m, and the Racing Queensland Magic Millions QTIS increases to $1.5m!
These enhancements are in addition to the 2024 prizemoney increases to The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic & Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas, now run for $3m each annually, and new races highlighted by the second $250,000 Magic Millions Maiden (1400m) and the $1m Magic Millions National 2YO Classic (1000m) programmed in May to coincide with the Magic Millions National Sale.

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw takes place from 6am. Watch thoroughbreds on the Surfers Paradise Foreshore with champion jockeys on board. This much-anticipated Gold Coast spectacle is free to the public.
The connections of every runner in the $3 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic field will arrive in style before randomly choosing the barrier from which their horse will start on Raceday, Saturday, 11 January. Afterwards, the Barrier Draw for the $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas will be drawn; all of this takes place from 8:45am.

Will you be offering any package deals for next years Magic Millions? I am looking at accommodation, entry to the Saturday race meeting, entry for one day of horse sales and transport to and from. In total, 3-4 days accommodation in self contained unit in Surfers Paradise for 2 adults.

Unfortunately, we will not be offering package deals for the Magic Millions event.
