The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games will next be held on the Gold Coast, Australia. This is the fifth time that Australia has hosted the games and 2018 is sure to be the best one yet!

Most of the other competitions will be held within 20 minutes of the athletes village and will include the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (Diving and Swimming), the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (Netball and Basketball); the Gold Coast Hockey Centre (Hockey); and the Carrara Sport and Leisure Centre (Badminton, Wrestling and Weightlifting). Other venues just outside the city include competitions at Robina Stadium (Rugby 7’s) and the Belmont Shooting Centre in Brisbane (all shooting events).
Getting to and from the games will be easy with the Gold Coast’s light rail system which will connect a number of the key venues including the Aquatic Centre, Broadwater Parklands and the Convention and Exhibition Centre. The light rail will also connect to rail lines leading up to Brisbane. Your ticket price includes free public transport on event day within the South East Queensland TransLink public transport network, the Cairns TransLink bus network and on the Townsville Qconnect bus network when a valid event ticket is presented.
Single day/event tickets can be purchased to the Commonwealth Games, as well as multi-day tickets. Tickets to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies are in hot demand and typically are the first to sell out, so visitors are advised to book their tickets early online.
